Art Bar
Branding
An entertainment space within The Butter Factory — a nightclub based in Singapore — needed a new lease of life. With a philosophy of upcycling (and a limited budget), the concept of Art Bar was formed, where everything from the branding, to the interior, and even the drinks were created by repurposing previously-loved objects.
The Art Bar also made art a major element of the new venue by collaborating with local artists ClogTwo, Cryptic, Kristal Melson, Sharul Amir and Eric Foenander) who made exclusive pieces for the new venue’s interior. The entire concept was launched with an exclusive party and a guest set by BOK BOK, a London based DJ, producer, remixer and director of the Night Slugs record label.

Interior
Space
In entire space was outfitted with upcycled items. Mismatched chairs, old windows and doors for wall paneling, barrels as tables, car seats as additional seating, and lighting fixtures made from detergent bottles, plastic cutlery, old cassette tapes, broken headphones.
Alcoholic
Drinks
Even the drinks were inspired by the theme of the space, and crafted by famed mixologist Ethan Leslie Leong. Inspired by Singapore and local nostalgia, we reused objects that a lot of Singaporeans would be familiar with to craft unique drinks only available within Art Bar, so that even the drinks themselves became a unique experience.
